Reporting to the Shift Supervisor this position will work a 14/7 FIFO roster out of Townsville or DIDO from Cloncurry / Mt Isa.Working at Barminco will provide you with an excellent opportunity to further develop your career, while working alongside experienced industry professionals in a safe, dynamic and outcome focused environment.Duties and Responsibilities:You will be responsible for but not limited to, loading, hauling and dumping ore/waste material from development and production sources in the underground mine to assigned stockpiles or areas on the surface;Follow instructions from loader operators to accept dirt and fully load and balanced trucks;Dump waste materials in underground areas for the purpose of back filling and structural;Monitor the work areas being worked in and water down or scale as necessary;Be proactive in any and all EHS initiatives, reporting all incidents and potential safety hazards.Skills, Experience & Attributes:‘C’ Class Drivers Licence.Minimum 2 years previous experience in UG operations operating underground trucks;Evidence of safe underground mining practices;Ability to complete repetitive tasks at a consistent level;Have sound understanding of machinery and knowledge of engines, drive systems and care of mobile mechanical equipment.Your proactive attitude to safety and highly driven work ethic will see you as a much-valued employee, who aligns with Barminco's values and ‘can do' attitude.
