Your Opportunity:In line with Barminco's forecasted growth, we are seeking applications from Auto Electricians for various Barminco Operations and rosters in both Western Australia and Queensland to work on our Modern Fleet of Underground Mining Equipment.Barminco can offer you the opportunity to upskill for a Dual Trade qualification after a qualifying period. Training provided at our state of the art training facilities. Barminco are leading the way in Automation and Innovation with our Electronic Control Systems, and our range of fleet.Reporting to the Maintenance Foreman you will be required to attend breakdowns and first response problem solving in the field & Underground along with scheduled maintenance.These positions are FIFO from Perth, Brisbane & Townsville.Duties & Responsibilities:Diagnostic fault finding on mechanical and electrical systemsBreakdown repairs and servicing of heavy mining equipmentEnsure a safe workplace through daily inspections for hazardsDiagnose faults and recommend repairs / improvementsPerform maintenance according company standards and work instructionsMaintain critical maintenance data on a daily basisBe proactive in all preventative maintenance procedures to ensure quality repairs are maintainedMinimum Requirements: Australia Recognised Auto Electrical Trade CertificateAbility to FIFO from Brisbane, Townsville and PerthC' Class Drivers Licence.Ability to work autonomously Demonstrated abilities to work within a team environmentCommitment to safety.Barminco is part of the Perenti Group, an ASX 200 company and Australia’s second largest integrated mining services provider.
