About the role

Barminco is in an exciting phase of growth and transformation and this is driving our current recruitment of an experienced Charge up Operator to become a Trainer to join our WA Operations. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, this position will work a 14:14 14:7 or  7:7 FIFO roster from Perth.

Are you highly skilled as a Charge up Operator or been on Chargeup for a while as you enjoy charging and would like to pass your knowledge on and be able to train others to become as good as you? IF SO WE WANT YOU!

You will also be required to train, coach and mentor crew members in the Charge Up position. You will be required to carry out the daily tasks of Charging.

Key Requirements.

• Substantial experience working as an Underground Charge Up Operator
• All valid and relevant qualifications, certificates and licences (RPL’s)
• Current and Valid Shotfirers Licence
• Current and Valid Dangerous Goods Card
• Valid Manual Australian Drivers Licence
• Current National Police Clearance (valid within six months)
• A strong focus on safety and hazard identification
• A proactive attitude toward safety and hazard identification.
