  • Contribute to the development, revision and implementation of HR related policies, procedures and processes
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation (including the Fair Work Act 2009, the National Employment Standards, applicable modern awards and the Barminco enterprise agreements).
  • Develop and facilitate workshops and training related to employment and employee related matters
  • Assist in the development, negotiation and implementation of relevant Enterprise Agreements
  • Manage formal grievance investigations and dispute resolution, as required
  • Manage applications to the Fair Work Commission or other external bodies
  • Actively engage in continuous improvement by identifying opportunities, researching solutions and presenting and facilitating change management plans

You will have the following skills and experience:

  • A tertiary qualification and/or significant HR generalist experience within a complex and fast paced environment, preferably within the mining and/or resources sector
  • Exceptional communication skills with demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong ability to analyse data to determine performance and action
  • Ability to influence and drive change
  • Proven ability to apply knowledge of employment legislation, awards and agreements, policies and best practice
  • A passion for building culture through reinforcing company expectations and values
  • Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple, diverse projects
