Barminco is one of the world's largest, hard rock mining companies with over three decades of experience. We are currently developing above 120 kilometers per year, and mining over 10 million tonnes on our multi-million-dollar fleet of underground mining equipment. With new projects forecasted, this will see Barminco and AUMS grow to more than 4,300 workers in 2021.In line with Barminco's growth, we are seeking applications from experienced Health and Safety Coordinators. In line with Barminco's growth, we are seeking applications from experienced Health and Safety Coordinators.  Key Duties & Requirements;

  • Previous experience working as a Health and Safety Coordinator
  • Substantial understanding and working knowledge of Australian OHS legislation and industry standards
  • Facilitate and assist with collating and reporting safety performance data, and incident investigations
  • Strong understanding and capability in hazard identification, risk assessment’s, and controls
  • Underground mining experience highly regarded but not essential
  • All valid and relevant Health and Safety qualifications, certificates, and licences
  • Reliable written and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite
