About usBarminco is one of the largest hard rock underground mining services companies, with operations in Australia, Africa and North America.  Due to continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Superintendent to join our Australasian HR team, based in Brisbane or South-East Queensland.About the roleReporting to the HR Manager - Australasia, our HR team supports the organisation across all aspects of the employment life-cycle.  From Talent Management, Performance Management, Industrial Relations, Engagement and Retention and everything in between, this position works across a diverse range of responsibilities and would suit a senior HR-generalist who is looking to further their career working in a fast-paced and challenging environment.In this newly created role in Brisbane, you will lead the delivery of best practice HR support, aligned to regional and project objectives by partnering with stakeholders across multiple sites on the East Coast of Australia. About the role

  • Coach and mentor leaders to improve the capabilities required to build and foster a strong value driven culture

  • Facilitate the implementation of employee lifecycle activities within the business, including but not limited to remuneration and benefits, talent management and organisational development activities
  • Contribute to the development, revision and implementation of HR related policies, procedures and processes
  • Develop and facilitate workshops and training related to employment and employee related matters
  • Assist in the development, negotiation and implementation of relevant Enterprise Agreements
  • Manage formal grievance investigations and dispute resolution, as required
  • Manage applications to FWA
  • Actively engage in continuous improvement by identifying opportunities, researching solutions and presenting and facilitating change management plans

Key role criteria:

  • A tertiary qualification with significant professional working experience, preferably within the mining and/or resources sector
  • Exceptional communicator with demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong ability to analyse data to determine performance and action
  • Ability to influence and drive change
  • Proven ability to apply knowledge of employment legislation, awards and agreements, policies and best practice
  • A passion for building culture through reinforcing company expectations and values
  • Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple, diverse projects
