Reporting to the Group Manager Supply Chain, you will be responsible for managing over $100 million of inventory at over 20 projects in seven countries. Key requirements

  • Cataloguing and maintaining records in the inventory management systems
  • Proactively managing stock, by optimising minimum and maximum stock levels across multiple mine sites in various countries
  • Analysing historical usage and forecasted projections to report on all slow moving and obsolescence stock
  • Experience in managing inventory within the mining industry
  • Substantial understanding and working knowledge of ERP software, SAP and Pronto is desirable
  • Knowledge of MRP, with the ability to analyse data to establish preferred inventory levels
  • Good understanding of catalogue standards and systems
  • The ability to identify, evaluate and develop process improvements to inventory management
