Our goal is to improve Barminco’s gender and indigenous diversity across our global operations.The Opportunity:Barminco Canada Mining Services Ltd is currently has an exciting opportunity for suitably experienced Light Vehicle Mechanics to join our Operations Team at Williams Mine, Hemlo Operations, working an ongoing 14 days on / 14 days off drive in/drive out roster living locally.Barminco are leading the way in Automation and Innovation with our Electronic Control Systems, and our modern feet of Equipment. Duties and Responsibilities:Undertake preventative, scheduled maintenance and repairs / improvements to all Light, medium mobile equipment and various mobile units;Unscheduled breakdown repairs, light equipment recovery;Ensure a safe workplace through daily inspections for hazards;Diagnose faults and recommend repairs / improvements;Perform maintenance according company standards and work instructions;Maintain critical maintenance data on a daily basis;Be proactive in all preventative maintenance procedures to ensure quality repairs are maintained.Minimum Requirements:Mechanical or LV trade certificate;Strong communication skills;Drivers Licence;Current Senior First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain);Commitment to safety. 100000 AUD Nation - Other - Overseas Americas USA & Canada
