Underground Maintenance Foreman

Barminco is one of the world's largest, hard rock mining companies with over three decades of experience. We are currently developing over 120 kilometres per year, and mining above 10 million tonnes on our multi-million-dollar fleet of underground mining equipment. Key Requirements; 

  • Minimum of 5+ years experience as an underground supervisor – this is a mandatory visa requirement
  • Extensive Sandvik, Normet and Volvo equipment exposure
  • Substantial experience working underground in high-speed development, mechanised mines
  • Excellent working knowledge of technical and operating processes relevant to maintenance planning and scheduling
  • Ability to work in a highly dynamic work environment – expat experience (desirable)
  • Proven experience of managing a large diverse workforce and a large fleet of equipment
  • Advanced communication skills in the English language, both written and verbal.
  • A relevant trade qualification
  • A valid international driver's license
