Barminco is one of the world's largest, hard rock mining companies with over three decades of experience. We are currently developing over 120 kilometres per year, and mining above 10 million tonnes on our multi-million-dollar fleet of underground mining equipment. With new projects forecasted, this will see Barminco and AUMS grow to over 4,300 employees in 2021.We’re looking for experienced supervisors to join our WA Mining Projects on an 8:6 roster, FIFO from Perth.With support from our operations team, you will be a visible and respected site leader. With a sharp focus on safety, you will lead and enable your team to achieve performance targets.Key Requirements;Have extensive experience in underground mining, in a same or similar role.Liaise with the client contact ensuring expectations are realistic and projected targets are achieved safely and to specifications.Coordinate manpower, roster preparation, annual leave scheduling and assist with employment / deployment of workforce.Promptly act on any safety issues that arise, ensuring accident / incident reporting is carried out and followed up.Carry out regular inspections of plant and equipment and communicate with the Maintenance Department regularly on equipment scheduling.Maintain a strong emphasis on compliance with health and safety legislation.Underground Supervisors Certificate of Competency or First-Class Mine Managers.Valid Manual Australian Driver'sNational Police clearance (within 6 months).What we can offer;This is a permanent salaried position, offering 9.50% superannuation.Remuneration packages will be discussed with shortlisted applicants.Workplace benefits including salary packaging options are available.Successful candidates may be considered for Barminco’s nationally recognised leadership training program.The successful candidates will be required to meet our pre-employment criteria including drug and alcohol screening prior to an Offer of Employment being made. 190000 AUD Australia - WA Perth Perth 6000
