The successful applicant will assist the Project Managers and Mine foreman with the technical mining plans on site, interpret and analyse mining physicals and site costs, and to integrate with the client technical services department.Key Responsibilities:Oversee Drill & Blast planning and executionOptimise Production and Development processed to continuously meet and exceed contractual metric requirementsOversee site contract, monthly revenue claims, variations and management plansProvide leadership and consultative advice to Engineering team on siteUse analysis and implementation of cost reduction initiativesClosely Monitor Production and report monthly on performance, compliance and optimisationManagement of Quality Assurance ProgramsComply with all HS&E Policies, Procedures and Instructions along with relevant Mines Safety and Inspection Regulations.Budget Preparation and reportingVisually lead and mentor site technical teamsSkills, Experience & Attributes:A demonstrated passion for safety and a proactive attitude toward ensuring that safety is first and foremost for all employees at all times.Understanding of equipment and human resource capability and productivities.The ability to work independently and fully capable of applying established best practise standards.Manage the mining contract and manage mining costs.Ability to communicate and liaise with employees and client site management.Prepare monthly mining progress claims.Experience with scheduling labour and materialsAbility to assess mining working conditions and environment, identify key issues and or safety concernsUnderstanding the mine reporting system.Ability to supervise, lead, assess and educate site personnel as required.Drill and Blast design and post blast analysis experienceMine Ventilation officer experienceBachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering.Senior First Aid CertificateMinimum of 5 years of relevant underground mining experience Your proactive attitude to safety, diligent approach and strong work ethic, will see you become a highly valued member of the Barminco Operations Team, where you will work alongside experienced industry professionals in a safe, dynamic and outcome focused environment.Barminco welcomes and encourages both males and females who possess the outlined skills, experience and ambition to apply. 185000 AUD Nation - Other - Overseas Asia Pacific India & South Asia Jaipur

The Opportunity:

In line with Barminco’s forecasted growth, we are seeking applications from qualified and experienced Mining Engineer that will enjoy this unique opportunity. The successful applicant will assist the Project Managers and Mine foreman with the technical mining plans on site, interpret and analyse mining physicals and site costs, and to integrate with the client technical services department.

Key Responsibilities:
