Procurement / Purchasing Officer / Supply Coordinator

As part of the Perenti Group, Barminco employs over 4,500 people, at 22 projects in seven countries. Due to the continued growth in our operations we are looking for an experienced Procurement / Purchasing Officer / Supply Coordinator to join our team in Africa.Key Responsibilities:You will be responsible for the purchasing and logistics functions on site as well as required to control the receiving and storage of materials on site. This includes loading, unloading and receipting inbound and outbound freight.To maintain all relevant documentation, manifests and stock registers.To ensure a high standard of housekeeping in upheld in the store and laydown area. Key requirements:We are looking for someone who has experience in a similar procurement role within the underground mining industry.You must have 3-5 years supervisory experience of managing a team of 6-10 employees.A valid forklift ticket is highly desirable. It is essential that you be proficient with MS Office programs and be a confident user of ERP software (Pronto, Eclipse, SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards).
