The successful applicant will assist the Project Managers and Mine foreman with the technical mining issues on site, interpret and analyse mining physicals and site costs, and to integrate with the client technical services department.Key Responsibilities:Ensure Client requirements are met contractually and maintain a favourable relationship with the clientFull understanding of site contract, variations and management plansProvide leadership and consultative advice to other Engineers on siteUse analysis and implementation of cost reduction initiativesMonitor Production and report monthly on performance, compliance and optimisationEnsure mining physicals are achieved as per contract and client schedulesManagement of Quality Assurance ProgramsComply with all HS&E Policies, Procedures and Instructions along with relevant Mines Safety and Inspection Regulations.Budget Preparations and reportingPreparation of Monthly Claims and interface with the ClientPerforms pre-start checksSkills, Experience & Attributes:A demonstrated passion for safety and a proactive attitude toward ensuring that safety is front of mind for all employees at all times.Understanding of equipment and human resource capability and productivities.Works independently and fully capable of applying established standards.Manage the mining contract and manage mining costs.Ability to communicate and liaise with employees and client site management.Prepare monthly mining progress claims.Experience with scheduling labour and materialsAbility to assess mining working conditions and environment, identify key issues and or safety concernsUnderstanding the mine reporting system.Ability to supervise, lead, assess and educate site personnel as required.Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering.Senior First Aid CertificateMinimum of 8 years of relevant underground mining experience to comply with Expatriate Immigration requirements Your proactive attitude to safety, diligent approach and strong work ethic, will see you become a highly valued member of the Barminco Operations Team, where you will work alongside experienced industry professionals in a safe, dynamic and outcome focused environment.Barminco welcomes and encourages both males and females who possess the outlined skills, experience and ambition, as well as the required resilience to work at a remote FIFO operation, to apply. 200000 AUD Nation - Other - Overseas Asia Pacific India & South Asia New Delhi
