We are seeking applications from experienced Shift Supervisors, working on a 6:3 roster, FIFO from any major capital city around the world. 

Reporting to the Mine Foreman, this key position will provide an excellent opportunity to further develop your career and work alongside experienced Underground Mining professionals in a safe, dynamic and outcome focused environment. 

Duties and Responsibilities 

• To supervise and manage efficiently and safely the day to day operation of the mine.  
• Training of National Supervisors and the workforce to a high standard to perform their duties safely and productively at all times. 
• Perform the daily management, control and supervision of the working areas in accordance with statutory requirements and company policies. 
• Conduct daily work planning/toolbox meetings to ensure clear and concise instructions for the personnel and ensure it is followed. 
• Be accountable for the safe and productive achievement of clearly defined performance KPIs and scheduled targets. 
• Provide visible leadership and mentoring of personnel as a leader in the organization. 

Key requirements:  

• Extensive experience in an Underground Shift Supervisor role 
• A current recognized underground shift supervisor’s ticket is essential 
• National Police Clearance (within 6 months) and valid Driver’s License 
• Demonstrated diverse leadership experience in previous roles 

Prior to hire you will be required to undergo a full pre-employment medical, including vaccinations required for the country you will be working in.
