Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse the selected business plan schedules to identify opportunities and risks to production, cost and cash flow.
• Analyse and validate the individual cost centre pre-budget submissions as well as provide timely inputs into the completion of our clients annual mining budget.
• Consolidate and report all performance metrics to the Annual Rate Review, with direct reference to budget and forecast plans.
• Analyse and report on HSE&C Policy compliance.
• Build organisational capability (people & structure) within the project structure to deliver mining budget and successful outcomes for the project underpinned by production at acceptable costs and achievement of margins.
• Develop systems within the project structure to drive the identification of continuous improvement projects, as well as track the progress thereof, that add value to the performance of the project.

Key Requirements

• Tertiary qualifications in a mining industry related discipline or equivalent operational experience.
• Broad range of Underground mining encompassing mine design, mine scheduling, mining systems, business planning and financial analysis.
• Mining cost modelling.
• Project Management.
• Strong interpersonal, influencing, communication and motivating skills.
