Positions offered are fly in/fly out from Perth, rosters varying to account for current social climate.This challenging and rewarding role will provide you with an excellent opportunity to further develop your career and work alongside experienced industry professionals in a safe, dynamic and outcome focused environment.Duties and Responsibilities:Working knowledge of drill rig performance and capabilities, including functions of controls, gauges, warning lamps and emergency procedures;Ability to operate drill rig safety and understanding all drill rig safety features (inclusive of any industry safety legislation.);Ability to mentor, coach and train the Offsider in the day to day tasks required of running a rig;Ability to organise and establish priorities, following up on outstanding tasks and closing out any completed works/task where necessary;Develop and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, including but not limited to, Barminco’s employees, Management, team members, client representatives, and industrial relations contacts;Ensure a safe workplace for all stakeholders by maintaining compliance with Occupational Health and Safety regulations, policies & procedures.Minimum Requirements:Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Underground Diamond Driller;Current Australian Manual Driver's Licence;Acceptable National Police Clearance (Or able to obtain one);A positive work ethic in line with company values;A proactive attitude toward safety and hazard identification;Drilling Certification is desirableFirst Aid Certificate is desirable;Working @ Heights Certificate is preferred.Your proactive attitude to safety, diligent approach and excellent work ethic, will see you become a highly valued member of the WA Operations Team.Should you possess the outlined skills, drive and experience to be an asset to Barminco, we welcome your interest and look forward to receiving your application. 35 AUD Australia - WA Kalgoorlie, Goldfields & Esperance
