This position will be working a 2/2 roster FIFO from Brisbane, Townsville or Cairns.Mt Colin | 2 week on / 2 week off Roster availableDugald River | 2 week on / 2 week off Roster availableWorking with Barminco will provide you with an excellent opportunity to further develop your career, while working alongside experienced industry professionals in a safe, dynamic and outcome focused environment.Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent your duties will include;Duties and Responsibilities:Diagnostic fault finding on mechanical and electrical systemsBreakdown repairs and servicing of heavy mining equipmentEnsure a safe workplace through daily inspections for hazardsDiagnose faults and recommend repairs / improvementsPerform maintenance according company standards and work instructionsMaintain critical maintenance data on a daily basisBe proactive in all preventative maintenance procedures to ensure quality repairs are maintainedMinimum Requirements:Trade qualifications as an Auto Electrician;Ability to read schematics;Experience in Vehicle Air Conditioning systems;Previous experience with mining equipmentExtensive experience working on underground earthmoving machinery including makes such as CAT and SandvikYour proactive attitude to safety, diligent approach and strong work ethic, will see you become a highly valued member of the Barminco Operations Team, where you will work alongside experienced industry professionals in a safe, dynamic and outcome focused environment.Barminco welcomes and encourages both males and females who possess the outlined skills, experience and ambition, as well as the required resilience to work at a remote FIFO operation, to apply.A full pre-employment medical is required, including a drug and alcohol screen and site specific clearances. The Opportunity
