Your full-service underground mining partner.
Since 2023, Barminco has partnered with Binar Futures to empower Aboriginal young people through basketball, cultural connection and leadership development. The partnership reflects our commitment to creating positive social outcomes and supporting pathways for future generations.
In 2025, Barminco proudly sponsored Binar Futures’ High Performance Team to compete at the Asia Pacific Cup youth basketball tournament in Singapore. The travelling group brought together 71 talented players across nine teams, representing communities including Kununurra, Derby, Bidyadanga, Broome, Karratha, Geraldton, Kalgoorlie, Perth and Bunbury.
The teams returned home with gold, silver and bronze medals, but the experience extended far beyond competition. Through international travel, cultural exchange and high-level sport, participants developed confidence, leadership skills and lasting connections.
Supporting Binar Futures aligns with Barminco’s commitment to creating opportunities, celebrating culture and helping young people realise their potential.
