Underground Mining Services (UMS) has supported improved access to safe and reliable drinking water for a school community in the Sahel region of Burkina Faso through the donation of a new well pump.Located near UMS operations at the Mana Complex, the school supports students and families from the surrounding community. The new well pump provides access to clean drinking water for around 250 students, school staff and local community members, delivering an important resource that can support the community for years to come.The initiative reflects our Perenti Principles of Enable tomorrow and Walk in their shoes, responding to a practical local need while creating lasting value. It also supports our Health, Wellbeing & Education social value pillar by helping improve access to clean water and supporting better health and wellbeing outcomes for students and the wider community.UMS provides underground mining services at Endeavour Mining’s Mana Complex and is committed to supporting the communities connected to its operations.
