Barminco donated CAD$50,000 to the North of Superior Healthcare Group in support of Wilson Memorial General Hospital in Marathon, Ontario, a community located near the Hemlo gold mine where we operated from 2019 to 2026.
The donation supports the Families Closer to Home campaign, which is raising funds for Barrick Care, a new 14-bed long-term care facility integrated with the hospital. The facility will enable seniors and individuals requiring long-term care to remain in their home community, close to family, friends and support networks.
By supporting access to local healthcare services, Barminco is helping strengthen community wellbeing and improve quality of life for residents. This contribution reflects our commitment to creating lasting social value in the communities where we live and work.
