Barminco supports grassroots initiatives through our Community Grants Program, launched in Elko County, Nevada – home to the Goldrush project, where we’ve operated since early 2025.The program provides one-off financial grants of up to $5,000 to eligible community organisations in Elko. Community Grant: Fill the Bus As part of Barminco’s inaugural Community Grant Program, we proudly supported Communities In Schools of Nevada in Elko County, contributing to their annual Fill the Bus event.Fill the Bus delivers essential school supplies and basic necessities to over 10,000 students across the Elko County School District. By removing barriers to education, the initiative helps improve attendance, engagement, and academic outcomes for students and families throughout the region.This partnership reflects Barminco’s commitment to creating lasting social value in the communities where we operate. Community Grant: Nevada Outdoor SchoolWe awarded a grant to Nevada Outdoor School to help expand youth and family programs that connect more than 5,000 community members with nature. The funding will support a range of initiatives – including school-based lessons, summer camps, and nature clubs – generating over 5,500 hours of outdoor activity in FY26.Since 2025, Barminco has proudly supported the communities surrounding Nevada Gold Mines’ Goldrush site, investing in initiatives that promote wellbeing and generate meaningful, long-term social impact.Read more here.
Community Grant: Room2GrowThrough our Elko Community Grants Program, Barminco is proud to support Room2Grow, a volunteer-led nonprofit helping improve literacy and numeracy outcomes for young people across Elko County.Room2Grow’s Growing Readers Program provides tailored literacy support, one-on-one tutoring, STEM learning opportunities and mentoring for students who need it most. Barminco’s support helps expand access to these services through learning resources, tutor training and family literacy initiatives.Supporting Room2Grow reflects our value of Enable Tomorrow.
